Champion Sprinkler Valve Manual
Constant pressure is placed on the outlet (sprinkler) side of the valve. The manual version is not suitable for use in a continuous open position as a main shutoff valve or as a means of inexpen-sive backflow prevention for an entire system; nor are the automatic models to be used as a mas-ter valve where other valves will be installed downstream. Valves - Champion Irrigation Champion manual anti-siphon valves are available with or without an outlet union for easier installation, and are available in 3/4' or 1' sizes. Champion V-19 series anti-siphon valve bodies are also available for use with automatic actuators. 466 Series Manual Anti-Siphon.
This covers the following Champion Power Equipment models: All standard open-frame generators, including open-frame inverters, and stand alone engines.
- CHAMPION C-6 & C-9 CONTROLLERS Each program can be assigned one or up to four start times. The valves assigned to the program (s) will water in sequencial order at each start time. For example, if Program A has an 8 AM start time, the first valve assigned to Program A will begin to water at 8 AM.
- Orbit sprinkler valves are designed for automated irrigation systems and are controlled by a computerized timer box. Manual operation is also possible when it is necessary to test the valves after.
- To reduce the risk of injury, user must read and understand the operator’s manual before using this product.
- DO NOT make any adjustments to the generator without first stopping the engine and disconnecting the spark plug wire.
- Burns from hot parts — let the engine cool completely before touching hot parts.
- Injury from moving parts
- To reduce the possibility of fire or explosion, be careful when working around gasoline. Keep cigarettes, sparks and flames away from all fuel‐related parts.
Please perform this procedure when the engine is cold.
- Remove the OHV cover from the top of the engine. Usually a 10mm socket with extension and ratchet.
- Pull the recoil assembly until intake rocker arm is all the way in the down position, compressing the valve spring.
- When the intake is in the down position, we are going to adjust the exhaust rocker arm to 0.008 in.
- Pull the recoil assembly until the exhaust rocker arm is all the way in the down position, compressing the vale spring.
- Now we are going to adjust the intake rocker arm to 0.006 in.
- Re-install the valve cover and gasket. Be sure the breather tube is connected from the valve cover to the air filter backing plate.
- Start and confirm the engine's running sounds. The engine should sound normal at this point.
